☑️ ACTION
Join in the 9 Days for Life Novena
We invite your parish to participate in the 9 Days for Life Novena, January 16-24. This powerful novena, organized by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, encourages us to pray for the respect and protection of all human life, from conception to natural death. January 22 is the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of the Unborn.
This year, we are especially focused on engaging our parish family and supporting the Archdiocese of Denver’s efforts to foster a culture of life in our community. Let’s unite in prayer, advocacy, and action to protect the precious gift of life.
How you can get involved:
Pray the novena: Download the 9 Days for Life app or visit the USCCB website linked below to follow along and participate in daily prayers.
Attend Mass on January 22: Join us for Mass and prayer on the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of the Unborn. Please contact Jennifer Torres (jtorres@ccdenver.org) if your parish plans to hold a special Mass or activities on the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of the Unborn.
Schedule Catholic Social Media (CSM) posts: In the coming weeks, pre-made social media posts featuring the daily novena prayers will be made available. We also encourage your parish to make your own posts with hashtags #9DaysForLife and #LifeIsSacred and reshareArchdiocesan posts. If your parish is not already enrolled in Catholic Social Media but would like to participate in this FREE service, please emailalexandra.mulet@archden.org.
Schedule a Flocknote Library item: Flocknote has provided Library items in English and Spanish to notify your flock about this novena before January 16 and to send out the daily prayers via email or text message.
