The Period of Evangelization Workshop

Parish leaders working in evangelization, this workshop is for you! Join us at the St. John Paul II Center for the New Evangelization in Bonfils Hall as we discuss how to do an intake for an inquirer, identifying where they are in the thresholds of conversion, and what we should do to get them ready to enter the catechumenate or candidate process to receive their sacraments if applicable by creating Seeker Small Groups. This event is for all parish leaders working in evangelization (Coordinators/Directors of Evangelization, OCIA Coordinators/Directors, etc.)

  • When: February 13, 2025, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Where: Bonfils Hall at the St. John Paul II Center (1305 S Monroe St)

World Day of the Sick Mass

You and your parish are invited to attend the World Day of the Sick Mass at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Denver on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 12 p.m.
 
Auxiliary Bishop Jorge Rodriguez will celebrate the Mass, which will include the Anointing of the Sick and a special blessing for caregivers.
 
Sponsored by the Order of Malta, Colorado Region, this observance honors the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, a day of healing and prayer.

The Colorado Bishops' Statement on Immigration

The four bishops of Colorado issued a joint statement on Thursday through the Colorado Catholic Conference in response to ongoing discussions about immigration as President Donald J. Trump takes office for his second term.

 

Please see the attached letter in both English and Spanish if you wish to print it out or share it with your parishioners. We have also included links to the Denver Catholic and El Pueblo Católico articles with a summary of the letter.
