As the body of Christ, we "rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn" (Romans 12:15). We invite you to share a prayer request for yourself, your loved ones, or anyone in need of prayer to be included in next Monday's Mission Link e-newsletter.

Requests submitted by Wednesdays at noon will be included in the following Monday's e-newsletter.

Pew cards should be made available in pews at all Masses for the weekend of May 17-18, and completed cards should be collected with the offertory. Please include the special petitions for vocations in the Prayers of the Faithful, and include the bulletin blurb in all parish communications. The petitions and bulletin blurbs are available below in English and Spanish.

When you receive completed pew cards in the collection basket, please be sure to promptly return them by mail. It is very helpful if you can fill in any missing contact information before mailing in the cards. A return envelope was included in the package with the pew cards, but if it has been misplaced, cards can be mailed to:

St. Simeon Open House

Please invite your parishioners to check out the beautiful St. Simeon Catholic Cemetery (22001 East State Highway 30, Aurora, Colorado 80018) during our Open House on May 17 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and join us for a pre-planning presentation and free meal! There will be time to see the cemetery grounds, answer questions, and discuss cemetery and funeral plans and other end-of-life directives. 
 
The Breakfast and Learn will begin at 9 a.m., and the Lunch and Learn will begin at 12 p.m.

    Thank you for conducting the Archbishop’s Catholic Appeal at your parish. We are very grateful to all those parishes that shared the video and promoted the appeal via Flocknote, websites and social media platforms.

    REMINDER: Please return all Archbishop’s Catholic Appeal donations, using a postage-paid envelope that was included in your parish kits no later than May 28, 2025. Auditing instructions were inside your kits and in the ACA portal. As a reminder, please do not send cash.

    Benefits Open Enrollment Is Here!

    Benefits open enrollment began April 28, 2025, and ends May 16, 2025, for all benefit-eligible employees. If you do not submit new elections for the 2025-2026 plan year, your current benefits will automatically carry over. Except for FSA contributions, these will not carry over.

    Priest and Seminarian Appreciation Day Event

    All are invited to come out and support our amazing priests and soon-to-be priests with a day of relaxation, activities and camaraderie. On Monday, June 23, enjoy golf at the beautiful Ridge and Castle Rock North (low-stress scramble format), and then finish off the day with scotch and cigars in the clubhouse. If you do not want to play golf, there will be lunch, cards, pickleball, a tour and more. Lunch and the award presentation are from 1–3 p.m.

    Hispanic Family Day at Annunciation Heights

    Calling all Spanish-speaking Catholic families in Colorado! Annunciation Heights invites you to a special one-day family camp in the stunning Rocky Mountains: “Pilgrims of Hope.”
     
    This unforgettable day will be filled with faith, formation and fun, inspired by the Jubilee 2025 theme. Parents will enjoy a marriage workshop in Spanish with Jorge Paredes and Viviana Martínez, while Annunciation Heights missionaries lead outdoor adventures and activities for kids and teens in English.
     
    The $250 family package includes all meals and programming from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Join us for a day of hope, connection and joy in God’s creation!

    CFCS Memorial Day Mass

    Please join Catholic Funeral and Cemetery Services for Mass as we honor and pray for those who lost their lives while serving our country as well as all our loved ones who have passed away. There are two Masses being offered on Monday, May 26, 2025:

    • Mass at St. Simeon Catholic Cemetery (22001 East State Highway 30, Aurora, CO 80018) at 9 a.m.
    • Mass at the Gallagher Memorial Chapel at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (12801 W. 44th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033) at 11 a.m.
