Please meet Godefroid Mugara!
I am a husband and father of four, and I am a Christian devoted to ministry. For the past four years, I have channeled my commitment to serving others through my work with Catholic Charities of Denver. Originally from Africa, I moved to the United States a decade ago. I hold a degree in economics and management, practice the Japanese martial art of Shotokan.
In my role, I administer and distribute supplies to Marisol Family locations, other Catholic Charities ministries, and external community partners. I also manage logistics for and assist with Marisol Miles mobile distribution events. I am responsible for tracking supplies and donations received and distributed, especially diapers and adult incontinence supplies. Additionally, I support data tracking implementation at various sites and with community partners, and I assist the Director with budget management.

Sweet Dreams at Annunciation site
Susie and Wayne Fox, owners of Sweet Dream in a Bag have been collaborating with Marisol Family for 10 yrs now. At least 50 children get one bedding package each time we bring the program to our different 10 sites. We do an average of 50 packages per month.
The bedding package contains a bedspread, blanket, set of sheets, pillow, a book. The children get to choose their favorite design for their bedspread. Additionally, each child gets a book with their name.

On Tuesday, October 2, Marisol Family Annunciation received a generous donation of 61 brand-new pairs of children’s shoes from the Keep Driving Foundation — including some fun light-up pairs!
The team that delivered the donation also toured Marisol Family and helped unpack the shoes for our families. They shared that they truly enjoyed their experience with us and we are so grateful for their support.
Families were already excitedly picking up shoes as staff and volunteers unboxed and prepared them for our community.

The needs of women and families in the Denver metro area are growing and so we are always in need of diaper support!
Catholic Charities, through our programs like Marisol Family, Marisol Health and Marisol Homes, distributed an astounding 2.3 million diapers in 2024 to 17,000 families - an increase of 7,000 families in just one year. The need continues to grow. If your parish is interested in helping meet these essential diaper needs, we have three main opportunities throughout the year; our Fall Diaper Drive, Lenten Diaper Drive and Mother's Day card sales.
