"If all the marches, all of the prayers saved but one tiny, fragile life, would not the Lord of Life say to us, 'Well done, good and faithful servant'". - Cardinal O'Connor, Founder of the Sisters of Life

đď¸ Grateful Hearts: Recap of the Annual Gospel of Life Workshop
The Annual of Gospel of Life workshop comprised a morning of prayer, stories of hope and a recommitment to learning from the Father the importance of life through our own. The Sisters of Life offered practical insights towards compassionate accompaniment, not only address concerns of those experiencing a crisis pregnancy but to guide them towards Christ who will renew and fulfill their desires. Chelsy Gomez, USCCB Walking With Moms In Need representative, shared how our parishes have the opportunity to live out of the Gospel of Life in engaging with the needs of our neighbors and giving of our treasures to ensure that all who come into our parishes sense that they will be accompanied.
Parish leaders, will you help us keep vigil for the vulnerable and unbornâthe ones the Lord loves so deeply?
We're looking for parishes to host quarterly Holy Hours that can be as simple or as elevated as youâd like. Whether itâs candles and quiet prayer or music and reflection, the goal is the same: to draw hearts closer to Christ and awaken a deeper understanding of what Respect Life desires for our Archdioceseâa culture where every life is cherished and protected.
Emma and Jennifer are here to help you engage your parish in this mission. Contact us at life@ccdenver.org to learn more or get started.
đď¸ Tune In to This Week's New Episode with Jordan Langdon

Jordan also highlights the mission of Families of Character and its powerful resourcesâlike the Thriving Family Accelerator Programâdesigned to help couples parent with confidence and purpose.
Filling the Gap: Supporting Families with Diapers đś
Diapers arenât a luxuryâtheyâre a necessity. Yet for too many families, especially now during the government shutdown, theyâre out of reach. One in four parents miss work or school because they canât afford diapers, putting their childrenâs health and their familyâs stability at risk.
Catholic CharitiesâBottom Line Diaper Bank helps fill this critical gap, supplying diapers to families across the Archdiocese of Denver through Marisol Family locations and other ministries. Every diaper donated supports parents who are struggling and helps babies stay clean, healthy, and cared for.
The need is urgent:
Babies need 8â10 diapers a day, yet diapers canât be purchased with Food Stamps, WIC, or Medicare.
Nearly half of U.S. families with young children canât afford enough clean diapers.
The most needed sizes are 5, 6 and 4T-5T pull-up.
This fall, as the shutdown deepens hardship for many families, you can help.
Your donationâof diapers or dollarsâkeeps babies healthy, supports parents, and strengthens our community. Email mhoutsma@marisolservices.com or call 720-799-9528 for learn more.

Upcoming Community Event: Understanding Late-Term Abortion and Womenâs Health
Fifty years after abortion was legalized in Colorado, new scientific research has shed light on the effects of late-term abortion on womenâs health. With a new Boulder clinic now offering abortions through all nine months of pregnancyâand no state licensing requirements for abortion facilitiesâmany are concerned about the lack of oversight and public awareness.
In response, local community members have organized an educational event at the Boulder Public Library to examine current scientific findings on late-term abortion and womenâs health. This grass-roots event is neither pro-life, pro-choice, nor religious. Its goal is to share up-to-date medical information and support informed decision-making for women and families facing a crisis pregnancy. Six speakers from diverse professional backgrounds will present their expertise on womenâs health and related research.
Event Details: Topic: The Science of Late-Term Abortion and Womenâs Health Date:Sunday, November 9 Time: 2:00 p.m. Location: Boulder Public Library
