Mark your calendar for Wednesday, August 5, 2026 from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm, and plan to be part of this uplifting event. Join our office in our Annual Gospel of Life Workshop, an inspiring evening dedicated to engaging hearts and minds for life.

This year’s workshop will feature honest discussion, hope-filled stories, and opportunities to learn how you can make a difference featuring Hope's Promise and Springs of Love. Join fellow community members for meaningful conversations, encouragement, and insight into supporting children and families through foster care and adoption. We invite you to come be renewed in faith, compassion, and service. Couples, families, and single men and women are all warmly welcome.

Responding to the Need: Marisol Health Denver Now Open on Saturdays 🌻

Marisol Health Denver has officially reopened Saturday services, expanding opportunities to support women and families in our community. The reopening coincides with Planned Parenthood resuming Saturday operations nearby, allowing Marisol Health to continue offering compassionate care, resources and life-affirming support to individuals seeking additional options and services.

This important expansion would not be possible without the dedication of our employees and volunteers who generously give their time and talents each weekend. We are deeply grateful for everyone helping make this outreach possible.

The USCCB Respect Life Store offers beautiful and faith-filled resources designed to help parishes foster a deeper understanding of the Church’s teaching on the dignity of every human life.

From prayer cards and pamphlets to bulletin inserts, posters, and educational materials, these resources equip parish leaders to inspire meaningful conversations and strengthen a culture of life within their communities. Rooted in prayer and compassion, the Respect Life materials also encourage the faithful to unite in universal prayer for the protection and dignity of all human life. This year's theme is Mary, Mother of God.

🎙️ Respect Life Radio: USCCB & Walking With Moms in Need 

Emma Ramirez and Jennifer Torres welcomed Kat Talalas, assistant director for Pro-Life Communications and Chelsy Gomez, program associate for the Secretariat of Pro-Life Activities at the USCCB, for a meaningful conversation about faith, accompaniment and building a culture of life. 

The discussion also highlighted Walking with Moms in Need, a nationwide initiative focused on ensuring that pregnant and parenting mothers have access to support within their local communities. Together, they reflected on the importance of approaching life issues with compassion, dignity and love while encouraging parishes and communities to become places of encounter and support for women and families.

How is God Calling You to Love? 🌿 

Nearly 1,400 children in Denver are in foster care. Many long for the stability of a loving family. Yet many foster families stop fostering because they feel alone and unsupported.

Not everyone is called to foster or adopt, but everyone can do something.

Springs of Love is a national Catholic ministry working in partnership with the Archdiocese of Denver to build parish-based support for foster and adoptive families. Our focus is to:

• Identify foster and adoptive families who may need support
  • Help families discern the call to foster or adopt
  • Encourage parishioners to accompany them through prayer, practical help, and small groups

If you have been touched by fostering or adoption, or would like to offer support, please complete the brief survey. Your response will help shape Springs of Love in the Denver region.

Light of the World Parish Presents 15th Annual Respect Life 5K 🏃

Join the community for the 15th Annual Light of the World Respect Life 5K on Saturday, July 18, at 8:00 a.m. at Light of the World Roman Catholic Church in Littleton. Whether you choose to run, walk, volunteer, or donate, this family-friendly event is a wonderful way to support and celebrate the dignity of human life. Participants can register individually or as part of a team, enjoy kids activities, compete for awards, and share in a free post-race breakfast hosted by the Knights of Columbus. As we enter the month of June, we are invited in a special way to reflect on the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the perfect image of God’s boundless love and mercy for every human person. In His Sacred Heart, we encounter compassion, sacrifice, and a deep desire to draw all people close to Him. This month offers a meaningful opportunity to grow in love for Christ and to imitate His tenderness and care for the vulnerable, the suffering, and the forgotten. Through prayer and devotion to the Sacred Heart, may we deepen our commitment to protecting and cherishing every human life from conception to natural death. Let us ask Jesus to transform our hearts so that we may continue building a culture of life rooted in mercy, hope, and self-giving love.
