The Power of Prayer: Jersey and Matt Chose Life 🍼💙
Participants in this past spring's 40 Days for Life campaign demonstrated the power of prayer and compassion by creating heartfelt cards filled with encouragement for Jersey and Matt, a young couple who courageously chose life for their baby after facing significant pressure to abort. Their witness is a beautiful reminder that our community's prayers and support can make a lasting difference for families facing unexpected pregnancies.
As we continue to accompany Jersey and Matt throughout their pregnancy, the Respect Life ministry hopes to celebrate their growing family with a baby shower this fall. Stay tuned for more details on how you can participate. If you would like to support the baby shower, please reach out to Lisa at auroraco40daysforlife@gmail.com.
Together, we can continue surrounding this family with love, prayers, and practical support as they prepare to welcome their baby in October.
Responding to the Need: Marisol Health Denver Now Open on Saturdays 🌻
Marisol Health Denver has officially reopened Saturday services, expanding opportunities to support women and families in our community. The reopening coincides with Planned Parenthood resuming Saturday operations nearby, allowing Marisol Health to continue offering compassionate care, resources and life-affirming support to individuals seeking additional options and services.
This important expansion would not be possible without the dedication of our employees and volunteers who generously give their time and talents each weekend. We are deeply grateful for everyone helping make this outreach possible.
Making Space for New Life 🛠️ 🎨
A simple storage room at Samaritan House has been transformed into a peaceful Mother's Room where mothers can feed, care for and bond with their babies in comfort and privacy. Inspired by her own experience as a new mother, parishioner Macy rallied volunteers, donors and her parish community to bring the space to life with furnishings, baby supplies and a beautiful mural of the Blessed Mother holding the infant Jesus. The project is a powerful reminder of how faith-filled generosity can restore dignity and hope to mothers facing difficult circumstances.

Respect Life Round Up: Events & Tools to Take Action
How is God Calling You to Love? 🌿
Nearly 1,400 children in Denver are in foster care. Many long for the stability of a loving family. Yet many foster families stop fostering because they feel alone and unsupported.
Not everyone is called to foster or adopt, but everyone can do something.
Springs of Love is a national Catholic ministry working in partnership with the Archdiocese of Denver to build parish-based support for foster and adoptive families. Our focus is to:
Identify foster and adoptive families who may need support
Help families discern the call to foster or adopt
Encourage parishioners to accompany them through prayer, practical help, and small groups
If you have been touched by fostering or adoption, or would like to offer support, please complete the brief survey. Your response will help shape Springs of Love in the Denver region.
