"Most High, glorious God, enlighten the darkness of my heart and give me true faith, certain hope, and perfect charity, sense and knowledge, Lord, that I may carry out Your holy and true command" - St. Francis of Assisi "Prayer Before the Crucifix"
HOW WE ARE HONORING LIFE
Recap: Colorado March for Life ❄️ & Mass 🕊️
The Respect Life Denver office was honored to coordinate the opening Mass for the 2026 Colorado March for Life, gathering hundreds of the faithful at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception to begin the day rooted in prayer. Celebrated by Archbishop James R. Golka, the liturgy set the tone for a joyful and hope-filled witness, even amid cold and snowy conditions.
As Archbishop Golka reminded participants, “the antidote is love,” calling all present to not only March for Life, but to live it daily through compassion, support for mothers and a deep reverence for the dignity of every human person. From the altar to the streets, the day reflected a united commitment across Colorado to build a culture of life grounded in Christ.
New Hours to Best Serve: Marisol Health Denver 🌻
Marisol Health Denver is expanding access to better serve women and families by offering Saturday hours from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. throughout the month of May. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit, learn more about their life-affirming services, and see their mission in action.
What began as a role driving the Marisol Mobile Health Clinic quickly transformed into a deeply personal encounter with women in need of compassion and care. Jennifer's desire to serve stems from understanding the importance of consistency and she looks forward to Thursday because of it. The impact she as already seen on the Marisol Mobile Unit has affirmed the importance of giving to this important ministry.

Respect Life Round Up: Events & Tools to Take Action
How is God Calling You to Love? 🌿
Nearly 1,400 children in Denver are in foster care. Many long for the stability of a loving family. Yet many foster families stop fostering because they feel alone and unsupported.
Not everyone is called to foster or adopt, but everyone can do something.
Springs of Love is a national Catholic ministry working in partnership with the Archdiocese of Denver to build parish-based support for foster and adoptive families. Our focus is to:
Identify foster and adoptive families who may need support
Help families discern the call to foster or adopt
Encourage parishioners to accompany them through prayer, practical help, and small groups
If you have been touched by fostering or adoption, or would like to offer support, please complete the brief survey. Your response will help shape Springs of Love in the Denver region.
Rest with the Sisters of Life 💙
A Few Words from the Respect Life Duo ✌️
As we enter the month of May, we are invited in a special way to honor our Blessed Mother, Mary, who models for us a profound respect for the gift of life. In her “yes” to God, we see the beauty of trust, humility and sacrificial love, virtues that continue to guide the pro-life mission. This month offers a meaningful opportunity to draw closer to Mary, deepening our understanding of her not only as the Mother of Christ, but as our mother as well. Through prayer, especially the Rosary, may we grow in imitation of her care for every human life. Let us ask for her intercession as we continue to build a culture of life rooted in love, compassion and hope.
