40 Days for Life Returns This Fall: September 23rd – November 1st 🕊️

The Fall 40 Days for Life campaign begins Wednesday, September 23, and continues through Sunday, November 1. This is an opportunity for our parishes and communities to unite in prayer, peaceful witness and compassionate outreach on behalf of mothers, fathers and their unborn children.

We invite parish leaders and parishioners to prayerfully discern how God is calling them to participate this fall. Whether by committing to pray outside a local abortion facility, organizing your parish to adopt a prayer hour, hosting a Mass for the protection of life or supporting the campaign in other meaningful ways, every act of faith makes a difference.

If you have questions about participating in the Fall 40 Days for Life campaign, hosting a parish Mass or becoming more involved, please contact the Respect Life Office at life@ccdenver.org or Lisa at auroraco40daysforlife@gmail.com.

Together, let us answer Christ's call to defend the dignity of every human life through prayer, witness and loving support.

How is God Calling You to Love? 🌿

Nearly 1,400 children in Denver are in foster care. Many long for the stability of a loving family. Yet many foster families stop fostering because they feel alone and unsupported.

Not everyone is called to foster or adopt, but everyone can do something.

Springs of Love is a national Catholic ministry working in partnership with the Archdiocese of Denver to build parish-based support for foster and adoptive families. Our focus is to:

  • Identify foster and adoptive families who may need support
    • Help families discern the call to foster or adopt
    • Encourage parishioners to accompany them through prayer, practical help, and small groups

If you have been touched by fostering or adoption, or would like to offer support, please complete the brief survey. Your response will help shape Springs of Love in the Denver region.

Following the races, all are invited to celebrate Mass in the park at 11:00 a.m. and join the Sisters of Life as they commemorate their 11th year in Denver. Whether you run, walk or cheer from the sidelines, your participation helps advance their mission of protecting and cherishing every human life.

First Friday - Fast & Pray

A Few Words from the Respect Life Duo ✌️❤️

As we enter the month of August, we are reminded that a Culture of Life is built one encounter at a time. Whether offering a listening ear, praying outside an abortion facility, welcoming a family in need, visiting someone who is lonely or simply sharing Christ's love through a kind word, each moment has the power to reflect the dignity of every human person. No act of love is too small when it is rooted in the Gospel, for God often works through our ordinary encounters to accomplish extraordinary things. Thank you for the many ways you continue to witness to the beauty of life, and may this month be filled with opportunities to encounter Christ in every person you meet.

Want to start a Respect Life Group at your parish? Desire to pray for life? Want to connect to other leaders in the area? Please reach out to either one of us or contact us at life@ccdenver.org.
