As most of you settle back into your routines after the summer break, I invite you to take some time to reflect and take a glance at your new routine for the fall with a perspective transformed by the Father’s love. The Holy Spirit inspired me with a quote from St. Francis of Assisi, “Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you will be doing the impossible.” This got me to rethink how we see routine as repetitive, boring or not interesting topics to talk about. The world we live in can often deceive us and make us think that routine is bad, that we need to continually be doing something different, but in friendship with the saints, we can see that having this routine/order/discipline allows us to grow in our relationship with the truth, and the Truth in which we wish to abide in is Jesus[RK1] . A CCO missionary stated that “the truth is like a lion; you have to set it free.” I urge you to continue living in the light of the truth, of Christ. Let’s set our hearts free to share Him, His truth and may this Truth inspire your ministry to set the hearts of many on fire for Love of Him.
